Cubans who want to enter Vietnam need a visa to enter Vietnam. Currently Cuba is on the list of countries that are granted electronic visas. So, if you want to travel to Vietnam not more than 30 days, you can apply for an electronic visa.
How to apply for an electronic visa is as follows:
Option 1: Visit the government website https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn and follow the on-site instructions.
Method 2: Use the services of govietnamvisa.org
Email us at info@govietnamvisa.org including:
- Photos of passport information.
- 2 portraits (taken on a white background, not sunglasses).
- Date of entry, date of exit, border-gate, border-gate.
- Electronic visas (trade or tourism)
We will send the payment information to you, the fee is $ 40 per person for evisa travel and $ 55 per person for commercial ecommerce.
Once your payment has been received, we'll email you by email within two business days.
Applying for a visa at the Embassy of Vietnam in Cuba:
Please contact the Embassy of Vietnam in Cuba for guidance. Remember to bring your original passport and two photo cards (taken on a white background, without sunglasses).

- A letter of invitation from the Department of Immigration will be emailed to you in 2 working days. In case you want to receive the materials soon, an additional emergency fee is required.
- Print input and file preparation include:
+ Original passport valid for more than 6 months
+ 2 card photos 3x4cm or 3x6cm
+ Application form (send by email with entry letter)
+ Stamp fee (paid at the airport)
After completing the application, you will enter the international airport in Vietnam
Note:
- You can enter Vietnam at any international airport.
- We will refund service fees if your application has not been resolved or declined.
- You can use the airport pick-up service to not queue up at the airport.
